Lenoir County Public Schools hosted a memorable evening of celebration and recognition during its Exceptional Children (EC) Awards Night, honoring students with disabilities from across the district for their achievements, growth, and determination throughout the school year.
The event brought together students, families, educators, and staff to recognize the unique accomplishments of each student. Throughout the evening, students were individually recognized, allowing their progress and personal successes to take center stage. From academic milestones to personal development, the ceremony highlighted the many ways EC students continue to thrive and reach new goals.
As students walked across the stage to receive their awards, they were met with enthusiastic applause and encouragement from loved ones and school staff. The atmosphere was filled with pride and support, reflecting the strong sense of community that surrounds EC programs across the district.
“EC Awards Night is a truly special evening that highlights the achievements of students with disabilities,” said EC Director Georgia Maready. “Watching each student receive individual recognition and celebrate their accomplishments is truly something to behold. It was a spectacular night.”
